I can't believe you think that is a defense for Cheney!

"The relevance for 9/11 is that what 9/11 marked was the beginning of a struggle in which the terrorists come at us and strike us here on our home territory. And it’s a global operation. It doesn’t know national boundaries or national borders. And the commitment of the United States going into Afghanistan and take down the Taliban and stand up a new government, to go into Iraq and take down the Saddam Hussein regime and stand up a new government is a vital part of our long-term strategy to win the war on terror. "

Hello- that is conflating the Taliban, 9/11, and Saddam- and the "war" on terrorism. And you think the MSN (unless MSM is something else?) "misquotes" Cheney? I'd say it shows exactly why the American people thought 9/11 was all tied up with Iraq. It's truly amazing you can't see that, but you don't. No point in arguing about it. I'm never going to see your point on this- not with language that looks to me to prove MY point.
