Raymond wanted to sit there and adjust the pwoer control, he can just adjust it one DB up and down all he wants by hand. It is knowing why and HOW to do it that is the art.

Most patents are pretty obvious once they are invented. That is why there is such a body of patent infringement laws.

"There are no slots in CDMA"
The implementation of a CDMA can of course be different but if you take WCDMA as an example there are 15 slots at 2560 chip each. 2560*15=38400/10ms which is the WCDMA chiprate.The power control is per slot.
