Agree with your Oil views. Current mild weather conditions have obscured the real picture.
As for the dollar, these riots in France are a new factor to consider. We had riots in Watts and Detroit. I don't recall any damage to the dollar.

Hi Eaglains,
Respecting your opinion but when do see 70 again barring any extraneous events? Best guess guestimate..Are you a believer in peak oil? Just curious as to your thinking.
Both XOM and BP execs say lower as well as Peabody:>)
As far as the dollar re: Ecrire..back when those riots occurred there was no alternative dollar backdrop...I believe the french situation has it's root with Islamic bad boys. Europe feels this. Europe is awakening to certain realities and there are many institutions, people, funds, that are saying screw the euro, buy american stocks and treasuries....the world resents us and dispises us but give it a crisis and they all run to us..
Heck even Narco institutions in South America love the dollar as well as those socialistic regimes...
Still the safest currency in the world no matter what they say..
