Dad I'm not sure I know which kind of script you're reading: Lets reply point by point:

>>LOL! As an Anglo-Saxon's mother's son, I believe there is real and widespread envy and jealousy in almost each and every post by EL and TJ. They have serious SUV envy!<<

Do we have to write that not call ourselves boring?

>>One thing America can do and does often is CHANGE itself, and that goes for SUV's too! They are getting smaller and more car like every new car season.<<

Now we talk. And it was based on this argument that I posted that car design is being outsource car design and engineering. I'm trying to say that car design done in Brazil points to the change in the paradigm no more 'metaphora SUV'.

American designers were cut with trousers down in the first oil shock and in today again. Perhaps it make sense to outsource design. (I posted a few points on small cars in Big Dog Boom Thread.)

>>Maybe they recommend that the French handle their young like the Chinese do and did...what was it called Tienamien square? Shoot down hundreds of college kids because they want their voice heard?<<

Why that 92-year old lady -not a daughter of an Anglo-Saxon mother reprsented? Look back a few years and you will see that equality in the US was fought hard to come by. It was not part of the society.
