I spotted and printed the PDF 5179 form at the bottom of the forms list here:
wwws.publicdebt.treas.gov

The refererences to same name sounding accounts is confusing on the form, typical government style, but I presume "transfer to an established on-line TD account number?

Since I have bills maturing every week in the old format, and proceeds go back to the same linked financial institution, I'll probably just let it runs it's course, using new TD going forward.

The securities in my Legacy Treasury Direct account are registered in my name P.O.D. to my wife. Are you saying that it is not possible to include the "POD Wifes Name" to the new (i.e., the savings bond) Treasury Direct account?

Thanks,
