So you just see consumer debt and national and current account defecits as static figures with no context?

Historically high consumer debt means what? Compared to what? In what context? How can anyone know what that means if its not defined?

Unless of course someone just wants to throw it out there for manipulative effect without defining it.

I would think the ability to pay the consumer debt or to balance against assets would be important to know if its truly "historically" high.

Don't you agree?
