The mother of all resets are, as expected, the subprime loans.

The 2/28 is probably the most popular subprime program. For the first 2 yrs, the subprime rate was not that much different from a prime program. After the first 2 years, the reset is usually one monstrous hike.

So far, this might not have been a problem since they can keep churning with appreciating real estate value, so the 2 of the 2/28 can start over and over. When that option stops, look out.
