Of course, if there is in the midst of these burning suburbs a functional network of Islamists who belong to the new Religon of Blowing People Up, this is a golden opportunity for them to take advantage of. The article I just posted from the WSJ pushes that POV. With the cellphone communication system they have, and the realization by the Islamists that they don't dare let themselves be pinpointed by the authorities as leading this, it is difficult to tell. But we don't see any poor French Catholics involved.
