When I asked my attorney how he was to be paid, or when, he stated that they had already been paid earlier from different funds than those being used for the shareholder distribution. Any work done by them since that time is "gratis" work on their part. Because of the small size of the settlement, my attorney stated that he did not want to go back to the courts for more. This must mark an exception to your rule, just going by your previous posts, and I don't expect you to believe it. At this point, I will wait for any updates/confirmation, and the check by the distribution agent. Update November 1, 2005. The Consolidation Order and Plan of Distribution entered by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia (the “Order”) provides, in part, that the Distribution Agent shall apply to the Court for an order approving payment of costs incurred in implementing the Plan of Distribution after the close of the claims period. The Order further provides that following approval of payment of costs by the Court, the Distribution Agent shall distribute funds to persons whose claims have been approved.
