Buddy, Some of those places you mentioned as launch sites, are farther from the equator, and some are closer. I guess they cannot pick, and choose, the ultimate launch point.

Unfortunately, the space exploration done by NASA, seems to have become a bit corrupt through to government graft, corruption, and the usual red tape that must be endless within our government. The independent companies will probably be the first to become commercial in space.

Space exploration is a fine goal, but this world needs to clean up it's own house, before it goes to visit another.
