Ted, For years now, we have talked about these same points over and over again.

Most of the info that goes though this thread are simple cut-n-paste jobs. I have no idea whether the torture incident you are talking about is real or just another exaggeration on the part of the media, and I frankly don't have the time to verify it all. Hence I'll just have to take your word for it.


The torture in Aghanistan was not a small byline on the back pages of the papers. It was on the front page in blaring headlines. Even the conservative NY Times made a big thing of it.

Maybe I am crazy but it seems to me you should be upset enough by such news that it motivates you to check it out. Its because we don't check these things that gives our leaders, the perpetrators of the torture, the impression that doing these things in our name is acceptable.

In any case, its true; it happened.......what is your reaction?
