You might appreciate the freedoms that you take for granted while attacking your government for defending you. I did not want my country to defend me in Iraq.......for good reasons that have become clearer with each passing year. If you wish to continue his discourse, you may wish to apologize for your insulting post. I will not apologize for an insult that it true. You continue to attack Dems and others rather than face the facts about your own party. No one made the GOP commit the crimes they have committed. The did it all on their own. No one forced the GOP Congresspeople to pass pork project after pork project. No one forced Bush to invade Iraq. No one forced old Rummie and Cheney to loosen up on torture and allow it to go on in our prisons. No one forced Bush to give out tax cuts and run up the federal deficit more than any other president since WW II. Instead of criticizing these examples of blatant corruption, you continue to attack the media, the Dems and liberals. That is not what we were taught growing up as to what a good American does. A good American is supposed to stand up for honesty and equality and condemn corruption, torture and pork. Those were not supposed to be childhood aspirations but to be the birthright of every American. If you continue to operate in this fashion, then you are right.......a discourse between us is not possible.
