Iraq is in much worse shape than if Junior just left it alone.

Do you think the Shias would have preferred to be "just left alone" under Saddam? How about the Kurds? That's ~80% of the Iraqi population, you know?

Do you realize Saddam was not very popular in Iraq? Do you realize 4 million of a population of initially 24 million in 1980 left the country during his 20 year rule??

What makes you think the Iraqis want Saddam back?
