Saddam was a paper tiger. If you eliminate the phony intel Bush-cheney fed us about the Niger uranium, aluminum tubes, Al Qaida training camp that didn't exist, etc. then you've basically got a tinpot dictator with no air force or Navy holed up in bunkers most of the time who acts tough but has nothing to back it up.

You have no comment on the affect his leadership had on the Iraqi people? That's the subject of the discussion, and the basis for my support for his forced removal from power. The fact that he couldn't bomb children in Kansas doesn't mean (to me) that he should be allowed to stay in charge.

So why did Bush stop the UN inspections and insist on invading before the final verdict was in? Because Bush-Cheney badly wanted that invasion. Why? Maybe for the oil, or who knows. It certainly wasn't to protect us from Saddam. Bushies are selfish and only think of their own interests. So probably oil money.

Please go back and reread the part of my post where I say that I don't like Bush and have no interest in your anti-Bush rants.....
