Have we actually FOUND 300,000 actual bodies in Iraq? If so, why is Saddam only being tried for killing 128 people?

Iraq fought a vicious, brutal war for ten years with Iran. Where are the dead from the decade long war buried?

I'm not suggesting Saddam was any kind of a good guy or is innocent in any way, I just don't like hyperbole - which the Bushies have used extensively RE Iraq, as is becoming more and more apparent as time goes by..

Something like 300,000 dead in mass graves since he came to power

Weren't most of those put into the graves by Bush the elder?
Nobody digs up the trenches in Kuwait.
He's the one who promoted the uprisings and then abandoned them. He's also the one who starved the population with his sanctions. The Shias and Kurds weren't getting a very good deal, but then they weren't getting much before Saddam either. All in all he was no worse than the other dictators that Bush the younger still props up in the 'stans.

Bush the younger must have killed at least as many iraqis in the last two years than Saddam and Bush the elder did in their time.
