Wharf, it takes an alkie to reach the spiritual side of alcohol. When an alcoholic drinks his reaction to booze is KABOOM! A normal drinker may even walk away and leave part of his drink at the table. Can one imagine that! Scientists who have traced the components of a wino's liver thought they were heroin addicts until they realized that alcohol breaks down differently in those who are addicted to booze.
