Thanks...that list will save me a ton of searching time in the next few months :-).

One addition from this morning, the Samsung Z540.

FWIW, some stuff I have picked up from message boards about other Q enabled WCDMA handsets.

- The LG U880 and Samsung Z300 are now available from 3 Sweden. The Z500 is supposed to launch shortly.

- The ZTE F866 is supposed to be another new handset launching on Hutchison for Christmas. Should be very cheap.

- The 803T is now available from Verizon for what was called a reasonable price.

I am reasonably comfortable with the feedback I have read about the Z500's performance in everything except battery life. I am really hoping that some of these other handsets dont have the limited battery life that the Z500 has shown. I would assume that a move to 90nm would improve battery life so hopefully the Z510 will make a big improvement. One thing is for sure, Qualcomm is leading the way in form factor.....these are some very cool handsets in some very small packages.

Oh yeah....one thing that is sort of odd (a mistake?). Jha shows the LG handset for T-Mobile as being from EMP (page 10). T-Mobile Germany shows that handset as being the U8290 which should have the MSM6250 inside.

HTC was announced as a 3G EMP customer back in '03, but the only WCDMA handset that I have found from them contains a MSM. It would seem to me that Q is the more likely source of this handset but we'll have to wait for some confirmation.

Of course, getting onto Docomo's network is only the first step. The Sanyo has been released, but I dont think it is making much of a dent in the Japanese market.

High Tech Computer to supply NTT DoCoMo with WCDMA phones, say sources

Daniel Shen, Taipei; Steve Shen, DigiTimes.com [Friday 9 December 2005]

High Tech Computer (HTC) is expected to sign a contract with NTT DoCoMo to supply the Japanese telecom company with WCDMA-enabled phones starting in the second quarter of next year, according to market sources.

This will be the first time for HTC to supply the Japanese market, noted the sources, adding that the company already has built up business relationships with major telecom service companies in Europe and the US, including Orange, T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone, Telefonica, Sprint Nextel, and Verizon Wireless, the sources noted.

HTC declined to comment on the report.

The company reported today that its revenues hit a record high of NT$10.44 billion (US$312 million) in November, up 21.7% on-month and 92.8% on-year. For the first 11 months of this year, the company’s revenues totaled NT$64.27 billion (US$1.92 billion), up 104.1% on-year.
