I think the current military actions along the border with Syria indicate the direction Washington is looking to invade next. Iran is a huge country, 4 times the size of Iraq, and Iran has a formibidle army. Syria is smaller and more managable. The fact that it shares a border with Israel is a factor as well.

All indications point towards Syria being next. They'll justify it by saying that Syria is harboring terrorists and perhapes come up with some other reasons.
