I like the Michael Graves products at Target. But it sounds like Kmart is doing the same thing Target does- ripping off high fashion, and high end products. I saw fashions at Target last year that I had just seen selling in boutiques in London- so they do a fantastic job at giving people really beautiful clothing, that's high fasion, and well priced.

I would suspect you get a focus group together composed of the kind of folks you want to shop at your store, and you run these things by them, and see what turns them on. We don't have a Kmart anywhere near us, so I haven't been in one in years, but I do really appreciate the designs Target has.

Some of the Mizrahi dinnerware and linens (at Target) were exceptional. They were wonderful to look at. There were some bold flower dishes I would love to have had- but they just wouldn't have gone with my kitchen. My Franciscan dishes go much better, and I do love them too.

I have gotten some wonderful bath towels at Tuesday Morning--luxurious and dirt cheap. Redecorated my bathroom there. Which reminds me, it opens again today so I'll head there after voting. Later...
