Smearvets are bald-faced liars about Kerry's Silver Star.
Just the worst kind of absolute hoodwinkers and libel artists.
swiftvets.eriposte.com

The ABC report confirmed the name of the man Kerry actually killed, a 23 year old soldier with the VC who was armed with a B-40 rocket launcher at the time, which he was trying to fire at Kerry's boat. Kerry charged the shore instead of running, the B-40 jammed and Kerry leaped off in personal pursuit. He killed him mano a mano or with small arms fire.

This was a tremendous feat of courage. All Bushies ought to be flushed down the toilet of American opinion for ever smering this true hero.

Can you explain what this means?

The administration has said in a statement that while it does not condone torture, it opposes the measure because it would be "unnecessary or duplicative" and could restrict "the president's ability to conduct the war (on terrorism) effectively under existing law."

If Dumbya and his gang don't torture prisoners, then how could banning torture hamper Dumbya's "ability to conduct the war on terrorism"?

Btw, is it still the "war on terrorism" or is it the "global struggle against extremism" or some such crap? Maybe Dumbya could write a book about this titled "My Struggle", and someone could translate it into German with the title "Mein Kampf"...
