As near as I can figure, Frist thinks that the focus will be on WHO spilled the beans about the secret, overseas torture Gitmo's, instead of the secret, overseas torture Gitmos. I think we should give the guy, whoever it was, the Medal of Freedom! I wonder if this will track back to Porter Goss, or higher?

"What are these guys up to... hard to believe they are that stupid (or God forbid ethical) to give up their own." Doesn't have to be either one. Just the dim realization that things have gotten to the point that their chances for reelection is in danger. Old hands in the CIA are probably waking up in cold sweats because they remember when Congress almost shut them down before and they had to run drugs to keep in business. This is the sort of stuff that triggers a backlash. If Republicans are starting to defect, then the handwriting is on the wall for Bushco...

Lordie, John, I don't know what to make of things. A Republican losing to a Dem in a red state? Well, I'll be the ham hock for bubba's dinner right after church on Sunday! I do believe the inexplicable has happened. A Dem has won a red state.......and not just any ole red state but the Commonwealth of Virginnie. God be praised!
