This is a classic immigration pattern. the next generation spreads out, and by the fourth generation they cannot speak the language of the home country. We currently have Vietnamese refugees living in closer proximity than that. They are very upwardly mobile. they live three families to a house, and when the mortgage is paid down, they buy a second and eventually a third house, with all three families paying on all mortgages.
