The good news, if there is any, is that management is being shown to be the Emperor with the people finally realizing and posting that there is very little substance to the oft-revised business plan. Bragging about 2% q/q growth is an example.

Nevertheless, there is a value to the company. I'm now clearly convinced that they have to sell out. They can't make it on their own. They have always been a step behind and a step late, to be kind.

First, DSL then VOIP, now perhaps WiMax. Through acquisitions, manipulation of semi-toxic deals and financing, attendant dumping and dilution, the end game is here.

By the time they get their WiMax to an actual business, others will be doing it cheaper.

They have a national network, many excellent technological pieces of a communcations puzzle. They present a value to one of the remaining Bells. They are cheap enough now so that a take over at $1.50-$2.00 would clearly be a "win-win" to all. Pocket change to Verizon or Bell South T.

A disappointment to those of us who hope and pray for more, but it's just not realistic that this is ever worth more than a couple of bucks.
