Ditto for bar codes at a store. I stopped at a CVS last night and bought an item. The wrapper was crumpled and the bar code wouldn't scan. It brought down the entire operation of the store. I told them what the price was, but they couldn't override the bar code, which they couldn't get. I told them to code it as a prescription, where they can enter the price manually, but they looked at me as though I was cursing Mom and apple pie. <G>
