Your comment was that you lost respect for Fitz when he strayed from the original subject of investigation. My point was that the original Special Prosecutor in Clinton's case was assigned to look into Whitewater, a failed land deal involving S&L guarantees. That was a long way from sexual harrassment, which is where the civil case involving Paula Jones came in eventually. So, did you lose respect for Starr because he went so wide afield?

'Actually, Clinton's perjury was connected to a civil action in which he was found in contempt by a court and eventually paid a hefty settlement. In that there was no charge of leaking a covert agent's name in the Fitzgerald matter, I fail to see a parallel.'

Starr did not procecute, yet Fritz did. Starr afraid of the politics or the press?
