" the CIA analysts were aware that the White House had expectations about what it wanted to see in the report. The report quotes the CIA's highest-ranking analyst as saying she instructed her underlings to write a "speculative piece" that would "lean far forward" and "stretch to the maximum the evidence" in response to senior policymakers' interest in links between Al Qaeda and Saddam [Hussein]. "

It all comes down to what "pressure" means I guess...

However, I really hate it when someone completely misses the truth by a mile, and then claims to have the truth, and then you have to go dig up the misrepresentation, and waste your time. It's obvious that the so called "bipartisan" committee did not agree on the pressure element- and the statement of one member, was presented as the statement of the bipartisan committee. That was either a lie or ignorance. Neither of those things gives one much confidence in the poster in question.
