If you want to go back in history, then Jews have lived on that land longer than Muslims. The Jews have been out of Israel longer than they were in it. I think he means there were some Jews in Israel for a long time. Sort of like there have been Jews in China for thousands of years.

If your God supposedly tells you something is YOURS, that he's given it especially to YOU, then you own it forever. Especially if YOUR God is the ONE TRUE God. I'll bet the Gypsies wish THEIR God would make a land grant.

Not true. Jews have lived in Israel continuously since prior to the time of Moses. Many have been lead away in bondage and of course there's the well-known diaspora, but Jews have continued to live in small and great numbers in Israel longer than Muslims have. Judaism began with the birth of Adam and Eve around 3800 BC. The land of Israel started to take on a holy aspect with the invasion by Joshua around 1200 B.C. That predates the foundation of Islam by 1700 years. jewishvirtuallibrary.org No historian would say Muslims have more of a right to Israel than Jews, unless they were biased.
