Actually, Clinton almost made peace in Israel, do did Carter, so it can possibly be done. If the Cold War can end anything can happen. And, the sudden domination of hybrid technology has proven we can get off the frigging oil, at least step by step. What we need though is a president with vision like Kerry. If Kerry were in he'd be whisking us toward a gasoline-free economy. of course it will take 15 years but it can be done. Then who cares about the frigging A-rabs. But whomever's in charge has to WAKE UP. One thing we can't afford are leaders in the pockets of big oil, which is exactly what we have. All of them facing indictment or impeachment of course. A big part of this problem exists because Bushies kiss Saudi butt.
