In Paris, you rarely see Arabs on the streets..... Neither do you rarely see poor French on Paris street... Paris is a bit special, it's a city so expensive that even the French white middle class can't afford it. Marseille, Toulouse, Perpignan, are another story.... That's true about Marseille. I don't know Toulouse and Perpignan. However, its not true of places like Avignon or St. Tropez or even Nice. When I slept sur le pont, d'Avignon, I didn't see any Arabs sleeping there. ted
