all these old time stock guys like Sam Stovall and Cramer and even Larry Kudlow are following their old playbook which is, looking at the fundies in general, IT spending and internet infrastructure use seems to be up, people are excited about the internet again with Google so connect the dots.... internet infrastructure like Cisco should rise. The problem is this market aint what it used to be. No large cap stock can rise here, except a huge growth story like GOOG. Doesn't matter what the fundies are.
