We had a great contrary speaker at lunch today. His talk lasted 1 1/2 hours. Most last 20 minutes and half the audience are gone before he is done. In this case, nobody walked out. Anyhow, one of his buggabears is the housing affordability index. It hit an all time high of 148 a few months ago. It is now at 115. 100 is a depression. <G> He also thought it odd that Fannie's accountants still can't guess how much money they've made or lost or what their capital structure is. <G> Freddie is at 237 times earnings on trailing 12 months. "Hey, Google, show me whatcha got!"
