RE:"Bush's tax breaks for the rich cost the US about 100 billion a year in revenues."

That's about what Clintons $500k tax break is costing the US too.

Not only that but it's widening the gap between the rich and the poor...big time.

Hardly. A $500k home on the east or west coasts is a middle class home. Its the middle class that benefits from Clinton's break. Its the upper classes who benefit from Bush's cuts. I'd much rather support the middle classes than the rich.

How about you?

Don't worry man, home prices are going to start going down... then you won't have to worry about untaxed capital gains. And what will really make you happy is that people won't be able to deduct their losses either.

You must rent, right?

John

$500,000 tax break? What are you talking about?
During CLinton's years the rich did great though they paid higher taxes. As a result we had both a booming economy and surpluses. CLinton gave us the healthiest economy since 1960. An amazing feat.
