No relationship whatsoever. Upper Cook Inlet has been open to oil/gas development for decades, and Escopeta already has the lease rights to drill there. The question is, can CGHI provide the megabucks needed to drill there?

This is actually great time, because the local oil and gas fields in Cook Inlet are in depletion. Escopeta's leases are right next to an oil refinery, a fertilizer plant, and the only LNG export facility in North America. The refinery now has to bring in oil by tanker, and the LNG and fertilizer plants are going to close in a few years for lack of supply. New discoveries in Cook Inlet would be very welcome.
