I agree with you about the nature of the fallacy. All or nothing thinking. Black hats must be all bad.

But I don't think the distinction will be any more easily made than it was the last ten times it was discussed.

I tried to stay out of it. I lasted almost all day. It was the divertive logic that got to me, not the issue. I no longer care about the issue.

Facing instant self-inflicted death is a lot easier than facing an armed enemy and fighting for your cause. Taking innocents along for your death ride is the ultimate in cowardice.
