Alan, With the confusion that was a result of Katrina, corporate may not even know what happened there. You can bet the franchisee didn't tell them. I saw where Rainy Day Woman has tried to communicate with the corporation, but there were many of their franchises involved in the chaos of Katrina, and they are probably running around like chickens with their heads chopped off trying to assess, and solve, all of the problems that ensued.

I've never run across a Red Lion, but have stayed at Double Tree a few times. They are nice, but more expensive than the HIEs without a lot of reason for the price.
