Fair enough. Although Sioux will never admit it, even in 2029.

Wilson? "He kept us out of war!" - until he led us in. Good honest man.

LBJ? As corrupt as they come. Scaled up Vietnam based on the Tonkin Gulf incident- -an attack that never occurred.

Carter? He did not not only not understand the game of nations, he didn't even know it was being played.

Truman? Hey, at least h got his division. Better than LBJ.

FDR? Still subject to some dispute as to what happened. He was waging undeclred war before Dec. 7, 941, though.

Spanish American War? Latest review says accidental explosion. Spain got nailed by a rush to judgement.

3.5? Let's save that for Tricky Dick.

I think 3.5 for Bush is far too low, but I wouldn't consider him a great president. I'd have a hard time considering any president who has increased spending as much as he has great. Also why I don't oppose Bush on Iraq, and I don't think that somehow it has been totally messed up, I'm not sure I would give him high enough grades to qualify the performance as "great" or even "near great".
