I toured the west coast in a camping van for five months a couple of years ago. I was surpirsed to find little pockets of flamboyant Jeezuzism in rural Oregon and Washington. Radio, billboards - the areas were smothered with Jeezuz. It was shocking.

I was in some of the same areas this summer, and you're right, there's an awful lot of it -- that stretch of I-5 between Portland and Olympia, for instance.

I've done that road at least 20 times........there is only one well known place along the road where some guy is a religious/Bush fanatic and has commandeered a billboard to advertise his beliefs. We all laugh when we go by it.

If there are Jesus boards, they are in eastern WA and OR. That's the redneck; I mean that's where the red portions of the two states are located.
