A friend of my husband has a son that is on the East coast in the Army or Marines. His wife was going to go see the son before he got deployed off to the Middle East.

The kid called his parents last night and said to come in the next 3 days because something big is up and he will be leaving soon.

Maybe a Syrian offensive................with Bush's approval rating at an all time low and the GOP losing elections it's time for Bush to slay some other people's children.

He was not supposed to say anything to anyone but did tell his parents to come quickly...........the poor kid is scared.

IF Novak can out a CIA agent then I can print rumor on this thread.

I just saw the movie " Jarheads"............a sobering movie about Desert Storm!

No human-to-human transfer and, with a mortality rate of 50% or so, it's too lethal to be widespread. In order for it to become a pandemic, it needs to be easily transferable between humans AND have a much lower mortality rate in the 1-2% range.

That's what I understand.

I like the idea of buying up stocks of sauerkraut and kimchi instead of Tamiflu which has only been tested in mice. I can see people the world over feeding migrating birds sauerkraut and kimchi.
