Is it? The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was instigating pogroms of Jews during and prior to WWII. Muslims enmity of Jews goes back farther than the creation of Israel. Don't know the exact reason for Mr Mufti's pogroms, but likely had something to do with Zionism. Frankly, we hear the Jews have been persecuted throughout history in numerous campaigns in numerous regions. Why is that? What did the Jews do to always end up attacked by the various powers that be? Saw an old movie called Gentleman's Agreement the other day (~1949, Elia Kazan, starring Greg Peck (a UC Berkeley grad!!)), and it was about anti-semitism in the US post WW2. What in the world caused Americans to be anti-semitic in the late 1940's? I honestly don't know.

And Zionist hatred of Muslims predates the formation of Israel as well. It started when the Zionists began moving in droves back at the turn of the century and pushing Muslims out. In fact, there is some evidence that the Zionists were looking at extraordinary measures to get rid of the Muslims. Furthermore, to get the Brits to give them Israel, Jewish terrorists groups were blowing up important Brit. and Muslim buildings like the King David hotel. Where did you get the notion that the Zionists were innocents and simply vehicles of peace in this whole mess? You are so far off, its making you look like a dyed-in-the-wool bigot.
