One way would be to buy the land from the original owners in such quantity that you have a large enough space to become somewhat self-sufficient. Then you make sure that space is occupied by your group of people. Then you form laws, a military, and declare yourself sovereign. Sound familiar? That's what the Jews did in the 20th century, although admittedly there were some wrinkles in there. The Muslims happily sold the Jews their worst land, thinking them fools. Then when they declared sovereignty in a land dominated by Muslim tribes that had no sovereignty, those Muslims didn't like it, even though they had legally sold those lands to the Jews. To that, I'd say tough shit, Muslims. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Except you are wrong again.......the Palestinians did not happily sell their land to the Zionists. Instead, the Zionists were picking up that land from the Brits and Turks. Before the Brits. took over, Palestine was part of the Ottoman Empire and a lot of the land was owned by Turks. When the Brits took over, the Turks saw the writing on the wall and sold their property to the Zionists or Brits. And the Zionists were not getting some of the worst land but some of the best. In fact, they were buying up all the merchant shops in the small cities along the coast. The Palestinians were poor tenant farmers for the most part. There was no way they could compete with European money. Its the equivalent of you selling your holdings here in the States and buying up land in El Savador. Your American dollars would afford you the opportunity to buy up a lot of El Savador. Now multiply that possibility by thousands and how long do you think it would take Americans to overrun El Savador?
