More dippy horseshit. France has had their little military actions in former colonies, including recent fiascos in Africa. The people in France are no more literate than the US. Visit Paris and you are shocked at the filth and overall poverty. Most of my friends can't believe the percentage of smoking that they see in the streets. Hardly the romantic picture that we see in movies. There is much that we could change in government and in foreign policy. But an argument that the US populace is more "stupid" than other nations, is, to be kind, absurd horseshit. (That seems to be my favorite noun when reading your posts. Sorry!) Look at how France had tens of thousands die in successive heat waves over the a couple of summers. Was the US more "stupid" by allowing NO leveees to deteriorate? Government is by nature inefficient, subject to special interests and usually the worst way to accomplish goals. However, there is no cure in Europe or panArabia as you seem to hint. Clearly, the US population is no more stupid. We may be harder working, too busy to pay proper attention. But, we would be no better scrounging to survive in some of the countries you seem to defend.
