I don't think that's right. This is yet another --- go to the right ---- idea for Dems. I thought that Kaine ran on Warner's actual improvements to the state...more of the same. What if Gore had run on Clinton's actual improvements to the country instead of running away from him over Monika? Gods/Guns/Gays is a nonstarter as long as Dems can say that there is a big tent that includes diversity of opinion although there is only one law for all. The Dems can then move on to actual programs like shoring up SS for the next century, providing universal healthcare, getting out of Iraq and away from dependence on fossil fuels, balancing the budget...you know, the little things.
