The Washington Post gave GW Bush more positive coverage than Al Gore in 2000 and were tough on Kerry in 2004. It is not a biased nor a liberal newspaper. It is probably the most credible single source in US political journalism, and would never disinform for political reasons. They don't print anything without evidence and take that very seriously.

The Post handled both Watergate and Monica Lewinsky without bias or reserve. As did Newsweek, the Ny Times and others accused by the rightwing of being bised. In fact, the only truly biased major news services are the several conservative ones, like Fox News.

When the rightwing whines about "liberal media" what they're really complaining about are reporters who dare to expose rightwing lies and mischief. That's all it is.
