Everybody in his admin. has the goods on all the others.
This is Watergate Redux to me.
They are not that brave a group actually.
We will watch it unfold.
Then we'll feel good about the truths coming out.
Then we will be sad.
Then we will begin to heal.
Then we'll still be standing with the Proud who were here first.
Not my fault. It's yours.
You chose to stick yourselves out there.
You win.

Congressional Republicans are already running from George and quite publicly. Even under the best of circumstances he's a lame duck in 6-12 months so why wouldn't the RNC cut him loose and then blame everything on him if it came to that?

Would Republicans run against George in 2006 and especially in 2008? Stranger things, in the interest of self preservation, have happened.

Why is Cheney so adamant about the CIA getting an exemption from torture? Isn't it clear that they're already at it overseas? Is Cheney trying to publicly repair relations with the agency because he's afraid of what will come out in the Libby trial?

This is such a bizarre thing for Cheney to come up for air on.
