OK all you political hacks, we're playing a 3 month investment game over here.

Message 21880471

Read the first 9 posts on that thread to get the idea, but the way it works is this. You buy $100 worth of stock (or sit in cash) based on last Friday's close, and I'll track your portfolio. Whoever has the best result on Feb 28th is the winner. For example, my picks, Friday's close, shares and dollar amounts are:

CVU $9.50, 5.263, $50.000
OVTI $14.14, 2.122, $30.000
TSG $21.57, 0.927, $20.000

You don't have to invest it all. For example someone else has gone

Goog = $15
Cash = $85

We are still in discussion about trading rules, with the current proposal being you can buy and sell on the closing price of the last Friday of the month. So you'd get three chances to trade before the game ends. You of course don't have to trade at all if you like your picks through Feb 28th. Buying is commission free, but selling is 1% of the sell value (gotta have trading costs!).

So if you want to enter, go to the thread and post to me your stock pick(s), cash amount and have the total add up to $100.

For example

STOCK A = $40
STOCK B = $60
no cash

How many shares you get will be based on last Friday's close. Get your picks in before Monday 6am East Coast time, and no picks on stocks that have major news since Friday close. And they gotta be Nasdaq or NYSE stocks.

And no putting other posters on ignore during the match just because they are beating you......
