it's pretty sad when you see them winning the politics. Bush is not getting the right feed back other wise i would think based on his character he would be out there fighting back. Somehow the white house has disappointed him. Now republican congress are running scared. His major projects like medicare for drugs was a big bomb... who ever thought spending those billions would get him votes really screwed up big time. a survey the other night said 95% of elderly still do not understand the new program. soc sec plan another huge bomb. he never really explained it and got the message out. He only half hearty did speak weekly on it but again he didn't attack those democrats who tried to make it look like he was taking benefits away from people. Bush gives me the impression of being lazy... Oh, he is a risk taker but never seems to put the extra effort in selling his ideas. I sometimes go back to when he first ran for president he never came across like he was really interested in the job, hungary for the job. Rather it was i guess i am the one to run and so i will give it some effort but if i don't get it i will be just as happy. i voted for him , because of who he was surrounded by, powell , rumsfeld, etc. i thought it was a strong team that could carry him like a puppet. Iraq we all knew if it lasted longer than a year he was going to be in trouble. You cannot day after day have our men and woman getting killed on the tv and papers. Our people over all find it hard to relate to losing our men over the mid east and the rest of world not getting into this war. Bush is now around 36% popularity. congress is running from him. Perhaps this will bring out the best in him and he starts to fight again like a president should. he still has enough time , i hope he gets more into his responsibilities by taking on those who lie to America to try to regain power.
