TJ, Mauldin is interesting this week. <http://www.investorsinsight.com/thoughts_va_print.aspx?EditionID=224 'trade deficits don't matter' he does have a point, though, about offshoring. yes, I'd rather be the Apple making 40% margins off the ipod than the Chinese manufacturer making 3% margins manufacturing. Is this idea of platform companies an excuse (we don't know why the trade deficits haven't imploded so we need to search for a reason) or a solid reason as to why, this time. Things are different! D PS I can start to appreciate how Larry Kudlow got addicted to drugs as an economist at Bear Stearns! Perhaps sanitation engineer would be a less stressful job?
