Tenet was only relying on the available intelligence that was
vetted prior to giving his testimony to the Senate Intelligence
Committee in the link I provided you. He was doing likewise
when he updated Bush about Saddam's WMD's & WMD
programs, ET AL.

Michael Scheuer was the head of the CIA's bin Laden unit. His
statements were clear & emphatic. They were made at the same
time that Bush was allegedly lying.

And Michael Scheuer was one of many voices in the intelligence
community around the world drawing similar conclusions based
on available intelligence.

...."he got his information the same way everybody else did, from informants. Most of whom turned out to be liars."....

I'm sure that most liberal politicians want us to believe that.
Unfortunately there were many informants from Iraq & Al Qaeda
who to this day are deemed credible. And there was a substantial
amount of documentary evidence & hard evidence from UN
inspections - all deemed highly credible to this day.

And much more has been found since Saddam was removed. The
Iraq Survey Group, ET AL, have only added to the evidence that
Saddam's removal was justified & that Bush didn't lie, etc.
