Processor and screen tend towards high end, also RAM - these are not 'stripper' models.

I added some RAM - 512 MB for $ 78.00 retail.
Glad I am not in the RAM business...

I use desktops also, but they don't the security needs, anti-disk crash, or other requirements.

I expect Lenovo will have no problem getting the premium huge numbers of customers. Just need to maintain pricing discipline.

I expect one of Lenovo's next move maybe to go after Panasonic's "Tough Book" business, which has grown from a niche to a good size segment of the PC market.
