Just genuinely curious. I mean there are lots of us who criticize this administration, but you seem particularly venomous towards America in general. You know, the White House Administration is not the sum total of what America is about. You really need to get targeted in your criticism.

Yes, you're right. Its not just the White House. Its the American attitude. Bush was pulling stunt after stunt and the slothlike American public either was loving it because he played to their machismo, or they had their heads in the sand. And now we are in a mess.......IMO a mess much bigger than many get. And its not just Iraq. Bush has built up a house of cards, wiping out all the gains made by Clinton and putting the country in jeopardy. If he worked in a private company, he would have been fired long ago. And the best Americans can do is say that finally they are pissd.

That's why I am angry. This crap would not have happened if Americans had been awake. Instead, they think they can go sleep and play with their navels, and their democracy will take care of everything. Well, someone has to guard the fort.

Saudi teacher flogged for Bible talk

A Saudi Arabian teacher has been sentenced to 40 months in jail and 750 lashes for discussing the Bible and allegedly praising Jews.

Al Harbi, whose flogging will take place in public, has refuted the claims and will appeal against the conviction
